Self Harm isn't a Choice

How i wish that people would stop saying that we self-harm as a choice. It wasn't made entirely out of choice. It was in our blood. It has been. It is not about fate neither it is about some shit hole. It is about the society that is 100% fucked up, thinking that we self-harm for attention and it has been entirely planned out, post the photos online and only to get reported by the app itself for making it triggering.

Let me ask you one question. If you think that self-harm is made out of choice, what about crime? What about unwilling sex? What about robbery? What about all those things that happen and people get to know about it through the news? Do these people who made the crime were given a choice to do so? In my opinion, they don't. (You can entirely disagree with me on this, but this is entirely my own opinion.).

People who does crime ; they aren't given an option and choice. It's the same issue for us. I don't and never given a choice to choose if i want to get mental illness and self-harm. It wasn't given to me by my own choice but somehow i grew up with it (4½ years of hell).

It is never an option for everything ; except jobs and school of course but making decisions like this, this is not.
