Worst Government Rule

the governments for being such a dickheads and the people around me aren't helping. with every rules and laws they came up and with just an N cert isn't helping. jobs everywhere is getting harder to get because your qualification isn't reaching to the standard.

such as YOU GOTTA KNOW HOW TO SPEAK CHINESE IN ORDER TO GET A JOB and i'm like WHAT THE FUCK?! i am not being a racist towards Chinese people but since when Chinese language has become our first main language? i understand that now there is more chinese speaker and everything but this is honestly fucked up. how do other races wanna get a job then if Chinese language has become the first main priority to land a job? what if other races only knows how to speak English and their own basic mother tongue? how can you expect us to speak Chinese if we didn't know how to speak one? we don't even taught by the teachers on how to speak Chinese. this is absurb. i mean i am not mad at the Chinese people for this, i am mad at how the government put this as the MAIN PRIORITY to get a job? like dude!

i learn chinese during kindergarten and up till now i am still struggling to speak and sometimes i cannot even pronounce a single word because chinese is not my main language.

and also how they said that they will be helping the needy and the poor with financial aids and everything, so where is the proof now? i see a lot of elderly and homeless people on the streets and then when people seek help for financial for medical, you push us aside saying that a father who earns $1000 every month bringing back $400+ on every 7th and $300+ on every 22nd is enough?! not only that, that the father's pay has been deduct 20% for CPF and also need to say that he's handicapped. his daughter works as a retail part time bringing back about $400+ to $600+ depends on how many hours she has work, needless to say that 20% of her pay is also deducted for CPF. her mother had gone through a knee operation and unable to work (doctor has said that she is unable to work and is not fit) and you say it is enough to bear for a year?! are you fucking kidding me?!

to combine her father's pay and her pay is actually not enough. to pay the house bills, utility bills, phone bills, transportation bills, home-needs such as shampoo, sanitary pads and etc. all of those necessary stuff will be deducted from her pay and her father's. and if you work accounting, try to calculate how much is the total cost for everything? 3 person in one household. needless to say that they need to topup each transportation card $50 because of travelling, phone bills would be $150 for the 3 of them, house bills would be $300+ for the electricity, water and etc. and they said it is enough for them to withstand for at least a month or up till a year? i mean dude, look, they got the pay, they have to quickly pay everything and what they got left is fucking not enough to bear for a month.

and i am fucking pissed that they say this person's household is enough and they are not willing to offer any help because the daughter is working. FOR FUCK SAKE open your fucking eyes! she is FUCKING 17 and suffering from major depressive disorder and insomnia and lots of other mental illness. she stopped schooling at the age of 14 because of intense bullying and anxiety. for 6 months plus she has bear for quite a long time to not go back to IMH because she is worried that if she is going back there and have to be warded not knowing when she'll be able to be out, she won't get money from her job, meaning she won't have her pay. if she missed one day of work, she lost $54 and that is a lot. it may look cheap for you guys but for her that amount is her saviour to her happiness.

and knowing that the government wouldn't want to help her parents anymore, her heart just break into pieces. why? why, she asked. why do they want to do this to them? why wouldn't they believe her?

so tell me guys, is this the world you wanna lived and support this type of government who wouldn't even think about a poor girl's life, who works every single day trying to earn some money to support herself and wanting to save up for her education, wanting to pursue O level and get into poly? the poor girl who work every single day because her mother couldn't work and money isn't enough for everyone to spend? the poor girl who felt her life isn't getting any better, resulted into self harm because she's mad that no one understand how she feels?

is this the society/government rule that you want to support for till the end? the ones who ruined her entire life?
