What Medication I'm Currently Taking & What Are They Used For?
People has been asking me lots of questions like what medication I'm taking & what are they for? Are they helpful? Are they useful? Do they give some side effects? Will it affect your appetite? I got this questions lots from twitter & instagram, so I decided to make a post about it & explain it to you guys what I took, how does it affect me & etc!

ALL THESE MEDICATIONS ARE PRESCRIBED BY HIGHLY CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIST FROM KKH HOSPITAL.

The first medication I'm taking is Epilim Sodium Valproate (700mg). The reason why I am taking Epilim is because of bipolar. Epilim is a valproate drug that uses to treat epilepsy & bipolar, especially psychiatric conditions like mood problems. The first time I took it was 200mg. After 2 weeks, the results did not change & my psychiatrist increased to 500mg instead of 200mg, but still my mood did not improve so she increased to the maximum level which is 700mg. Considered too high for a 15 year old teenage girl to consumed for her psychiatric conditions. To be completely honest, there is no side effect when I took this medication. It was wonderful & help me a bit though to control my mood which is good but not good enough :( .
So how the medication look like?
Sodium Valproate (700mg)
- 500mg (1 pill : white colour)
- 200mg (1 pill : purple colour)

The second medication I'm taking is Venlafaxine (150mg). The reason why I'm taking Venlafaxine is because of my depression, anxiety & panic disorder as I'm diagnosed with Major Depression. Venlafaxine is a drug that used to treat people with major depression, anxiety & panic problems. You could say that Venlafaxine is like an anti-depressants which helps me to control my depressive behaviour, anxiety problems & also panic attacks. I used to take Fluoxetine (500mg), which is also an anti-depressants but sadly it never help me a-lot except to make me more depressed so my psychiatrist changed it to Venlafaxine instead. So far I've never had any side effects except that when I first took it, it gives me a very bad headache.
So how the medication look like?
Venlafaxine (150mg)
- 75mg

The third & last medication I'm taking is Diazepam (10mg). The reason why I am taking Diazepam is because of my sleeping problems. I've been suffering from Insomnia for nearly 6 months already. My psychiatrist decided to let me consumed sleeping pill after I complained to her that I couldn't sleep & it's hard for me to go to work easily. Diazepam is used to treat people with anxiety, panic & insomnia disorders. It can highly caused a serious side effects where such death is involved!
To be honest, without this medication, I can't sleep. This is like my life saver. I know that we should keep depending on sleeping pill but I've tried not to eat these pills in one week but guess what? The next week I've become a zombie! My colleagues were frightened to get near me. So far while taking this medications, I've never had any side effects, just that once I took this pill, I would sleep like a log & if earthquake rises or tsunami or whatever comes, no one can wake me up - like literally.
